Minnesota Wild & Loffler Companies
Trusted Technology Partners
The Minnesota Wild are Minnesota’s professional hockey team. They’re a fast-paced and versatile organization that, in addition to hockey games, oversees concerts and state tournaments at the Xcel Energy Center in Minnesota and trade shows and conferences in the attached Saint Paul RiverCentre Convention Center.
The Wild rely on Loffler for second-tier IT support and to manage their copiers, printers, in-house printing and mailroom services in a partnership that goes beyond basic printing needs.
Managed IT Services
The Minnesota Wild’s IT team is a small crew of people, three full-time and two part-time staff members. How do they meet all their end users’ needs with such a small team?
Document Management
The Wild use Square 9 GlobalSearch throughout their organization. Using GlobalSearch, the Wild have the option to scan to their internal drives, to Office 365, or automatically to ABBYY
Cloud Solutions
The Wild's IT department can now allow end users to take their equipment home with them while still being able to offer IT support with the ability to remote into equipment.
On-Site Services
The Wild also have an on-site service called Loffler Management Solutions in which Loffler employees work in the Wild’s business center to meet document-related needs of the organization.
Managed IT Services
The Wild offload day-to-day IT tasks to Loffler’s Managed IT Services. Loffler is second-tier support for the Minnesota Wild, meaning that when an end user brings an issue to the Minnesota Wild’s IT team that they can’t handle quickly, the request is turned over to Loffler’s IT engineers.
Electronic Document Management
The Wild use Square 9 GlobalSearch for accounts payable, accounts receivable and contracts purposes. GlobalSearch scans, classifies and stores documents into digital format, making them searchable, editable and retrievable.
Cloud Solutions
When the Minnesota Wild decided to move their on-premise IT infrastructure to the cloud, they looked to Loffler to perform a Microsoft Office 365 migration. The Wild's cloud migration required moving email mailboxes for 500 end users to the cloud provider they had chosen, Microsoft Office 365. Within 90 days, Loffler had successfully migrated the Wild’s 500 end users.
On-Site People-Based Services
Loffler’s employees serve as the Wild’s first call for paper jams and fixing machines that are down across the Wild campus. They are also the first resource for on-site printing needs, including posters, banners, brochures, booklets or cards as well as mounting projects on foam core. If Wild staff have a project they need done, they request it with a link on the Wild’s website, and Loffler employees in the business center produce the documents.
